Estelle Roumage is the passionate owner and talented winemaker of Chateau Lestrille, a picturesque family estate nestled in the stunning Entre-deux-Mers region of France, just a stone's throw away from Saint-Émilion. Estelle affectionately refers to this area as the "Tuscany of Bordeaux," with its rolling hills, enchanting biodiversity, meandering rivers, and rich tapestry of cultures.
After graduating from Hull University in the 1990s and immersing herself in the vibrant city of London, Estelle embarked on a transformative journey. She spent four enriching years in Madrid before venturing to Marlborough, New Zealand, to deepen her expertise in the art of winemaking. Upon her return to Entre-Deux-Mers, she wholeheartedly dedicated herself to nurturing the family vineyard, infusing each bottle with her unwavering passion and expertise.
Estelle's wines are renowned for their delicate nuances and unwavering precision, consistently surpassing the expectations of their appellation. She masterfully intertwines a deep reverence for tradition with a progressive approach to vineyard management and winemaking techniques.
